The Smithsonian Archives of American Art offers several unpaid undergraduate and graduate internships as well as volunteer opportunities, fellowships, and a paid internship program for minorities. The Archive is located in NW DC near the Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery. Most of the opportunities are related to collections and archival work with an emphasis on working with fine art.
